Dress code that emphasizes comfort and personal expression over presentation, formality and more simply, "casual" can be defined as something relaxed, occasional, not planned, or informal
|
Casual Wear
|
Business casual :
There is no generally agreed definition of "business casual". One definition of business casual states that it includes khaki pants, slacks,as well as short-sleeved polo shirts and long-sleeved shirts. Don’t let the word casual mislead you.
You still need to look professional,a classic, clean cut, and put together look where a full suit is not required", which means slacks, khakis, or skirts, blouses, polo shirts, or shirts with collar but no necktie, some sweaters and closed-toe shoes.
|
Business Casuals
|
Smart casual :
Smart casual is an ambiguously-defined dress code that is generally a neat yet casual attire. Different localities, kinds of events, contexts, or cultures can have varying interpretations of the dress code and therefore the
designation of certain clothing pieces (such as jeans) as smart casual is disputed.

Informal Attire :
Informal
attire is a mode of dress that is meant to be less formal than a tuxedo, while
still providing more formal clothing than casual dress. The most common way in
which a man can dress in informal attire is by wearing a two-piece suit. This
suit consists of a jacket and pants that are made to match, typically in a dark
color such as black, dark gray, or navy blue.
A vest can be worn with this as part of a three-piece suit, though it is not
required the belt should match the pants and dark socks and shoes are usually
worn with such clothing. This type of attire is usually finished with a
long-sleeve shirt, usually a contrasting color such as a white shirt with a
dark suit, and a tie that complements the complete outfit.
|
Informal Wear
|
Semi-formal :
Semi formal lies between formal and informal dress code and is often worn to events like dinner parties and weddings yet again differs between morning and evening. It is still a strict dress code so don’t be confused. here is a small guide to define you bit clearly,
How to Dress for Daytime Semi Formal Events
If it is a daytime event, stay away from looking too formal. The following are
a few options to explore:
Combine a pair of dark blue
trousers with a light-colored blazer and a solid/colored patterned shirt.
Wear black leather shoes
and if you want to top it off with a tie, keep it slim.
Though you can wear
lavender suits, cream, beige or tan suits are better options for daytime
events.
If keeping the suit and
your dress shirt simple, add a dash of texture and color with your tie to make
a statement.
Add flair to your semi
formal attire with pocket squares.
|
Semi Formal for a fine Morning
|
For an evening event
A nice dark suit is your best option while you must stick to some lighter option (strollers). Here are a few examples to begin with:
Combine a plain light shirt with your suit
Tie is optional, but you
should stay away from anything too loud
Wear a leather belt and a
pair of leather shoes that matches the color of your suit. Combine your shoes
with plain and dark colored socks.
As far as accessories are
concerned, wear a watch and stick to a minimal look.
|
Semi Formals for best Evenings
|
Conclusion
Semi formal is a flexible dress code. As a result, there is enough room for experimenting with your look. Do whatever you like but don’t under dress. If you are caught between two items, it is better to be on the side of the one that’s more formal. Don’t worry about being overdressed you can always tone down your look by simply removing the tie.

You might have got a proper knowledge about what a MAN is wearing and what he has to wear and to where. Now lets see which are those exclusive menswear Brands that serve the need of menswear complete,
Menswear Designers :
Lets talk about the top 3 Designers who have ruled Menswear division :
3. Pierre Cardin :
Pierre Cardin. Cardin made his first impression on menswear in the
1960s, after having introduced a new, "modern" line of collarless suits
with columnar silhouettes. These were wildly popular with designers and
the public alike (think of the stuff The Beatles wore). His greatest
legacy, however, was in being the first designer to embark on lifestyle
licensing.
Cardin sold his name to people who would put it everything
from calculators to toilets. His pioneering into the world licensing set
a new precedent for what a menswear "brand" could mean, and many
successful designers since have followed suit.
|
Pierre Cardin
|
2. Armani :
He developed a radically new look for suits by literally taking the
stuffing out and making a more relaxed silhouette. The result was a very
distinctive, widely popular, "Armani look" that defined one of the most
significant eras in tailored men's clothing.

Giorgio Armani

1. Ralph Lauren :
Why is Ralph Lauren our top choice? He's managed to create brands that
exemplify classic style. He is by far the most globally-significant
designer driven by menswear. He's delivered a stylish, quality product
to consumers at every price point, from the high-end Purple Label to the
most basic American Living.
He is everything to everyone, but he
somehow does it well. Speaking of which: Ralph Lauren also represents
the triumph of the brand. Ultimately, fashion is transformational, and
when Ralph Lifschitz became Ralph Lauren, he defined what that could
mean for literally hundreds of millions of people.
His designs represent
an aspirational aesthetic that's somehow also democratic. Ralph Lauren
is, to put it bluntly, the king of menswear.
